My goal is to help you to repair your relationship with food and your body using hypnotherapy, so that you can feel in control and healthier.
My name is Alison and I have been in the health care industry for almost 20 years as a registered nurse. In this time I continually came across people with terrible yet preventable health complications that were caused from poor lifestyle choices. Each of these people knew what they were doing to themselves but just couldn't stop, whether that was smoking or eating to much or eating to much sugary and fatty foods for example.
From this I learnt that it is not just education, because we all know what foods are healthy and what happens within our bodies when we constantly over indulge and that smoking is bad for us, but there is something much deeper that is controlling some peoples ability to make those much needed healthy lifestyle changes and just stop those bad habits.
When I was in my 20’s I suffered from anxiety, and not wanting to turn to medication I decided to try hypnotherapy with great success. As I continued my health care career and continued to come across people that had become ill due to not being able to make those healthy lifestyle choices that they needed to make, I knew that instead of caring for them in their terminal stages that I would really like to support people to make a change before it was to late, to provide proactive rather than reactive care.
Remembering the great success that hypnotherapy had with my earlier anxiety I decided to look into this more and after studying a diploma in clinical hypnotherapy and NLP I am really excited to combine this along with my medical background to help support, motivate and coach people to become a healthier version of themselves to ultimately enjoy a longer healthier life.

My name is Alison and I am an experienced health practitioner, registered both with the AHA as a hypnotherapist, and AHPRA as a registered nurse. As well as completing a Bachelor in Nursing Science, I have also undertaken a diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy, and a Diploma in NLP. I believe that this unique combination of skills and experience, enables me to provide to you, a holistic service, ensuring health of mind and body.
Whether your issue is an addiction, phobia, anxiety or depression, or perhaps you are wanting to loose weight or quit smoking, maybe even wanting to achieve a new milestone; through hypnotherapy you can create the change you seek.
